What I wore Last Weekend: Color Me Happy

Hey everyone! Sorry there hasn't been a post since last Friday.. I got a new puppy this weekend and so all of my attention has been on him! I'll show some pics of him on the blog soon :)

Anyway... I don't have an inspiration photo for this outfit... It's just one of those items of clothing I wanted to wear and share with you guys on GJU!

This crochet vest is one of my all-time favorite pieces of clothing in my wardrobe. It's bright, colorful, fun, well-made, and always starts a conversation no matter where I wear it. For real. Always.

The best part about this vest is that I can wear it with anything: long sleeves, short sleeves, a tank top, black, white, any color in the pattern.. it's so versatile! I'm a firm believer that certain articles of clothing can make you happy. Every time I wear this vest, it makes me happy. And I find that it makes other people happy as well.

I'm fully aware that not everyone wants a rainbow explosion on their back... but for those who aren't afraid of color...You guys like it?

Close up of the vest against my black tank under it. The colors really pop!
Make it your own:
Vest: Forever 21, about $30
Jeans: Kensie $29.99
Flats: Steve Madden $45.49

  4. Anonymous-- Thank you! I also noticed the weird lighting shadow on my neck area, but the pic was fine otherwise so I didn't re-take it haha! Thanks so much for checking in on Get Jessed Up, even though it doesn't necessarily apply to you.

I'm definitely thinking about having a men's fashion post. keep checking back and hopefully you won't miss it :)
