Vote for Me! (Please!)

So... I was nominated (again!) for the 2014 Baltimore Sun Mobbies! I am so honored that Get Jessed Up has been nominated this year for Best Personal Blog and Best Fashion Blog! We've had a pretty good run so far with the Mobbies: in 2011, I won for Best New Blog, and in 2012, I won for best Fashion Blog.

And now, I have a favor to ask you guys...

I would love for all of your support to help Get Jessed Up bring home the titles! People can go in to the Mobbies site and vote once a day now through Nov. 19... and I would be flattered if you'd go in and vote for GJU for both categories. I don't think you have to vote for all of the categories- you can go in and vote just for the ones you want to. Holiday Sweaters... and a Belated Thank You!

Oh hey!

I went to a holiday party this past weekend. Most of the girls showed up in short black sequin dresses and platform pumps. I went the more casual route with a cozy sweater and comfy boots. 

Whatever. I'm dating someone. No need to impress, right? (I mean.. just let me think it.)

So.. here are a couple snapshots of my outfit (and my boyfriend's sweater, also)

Moving on to somewhat more important (and belated news)... I won another Mobbie Award from the Baltimore Sun!!

This year, I won for the Best Fashion Blog. I am so flattered to have won again! Thank you to all my readers who voted for GJU each and every day leading up to the award ceremony. I am so thrilled with what GJU has meant to you all and myself so far, and I am excited to see what the future holds.

I'm so excited to have won the Best New Blog category in the 2011 Baltimore Sun Mobbies Awards! I also placed 2nd in the Best Lifestyle Blog category.... amazing. Here are all of the stellar finalists and winners!

Quite frankly, I was honored to have even been nominated in the first place. Winning was just the cherry on top of the sundae, and man was it a sweet cherry :)

So on that note.. thank you all. Thank you for checking into GJU a few times a week. Thank you for voting for me in this year's Mobbies. Thank you for supporting this project. Thank you. Sincerely.
